Kids on the Block


  

Description

Kids on the block is an award winning international education program originally created when "mainstreaming" children became a law.  It was designed to help introduce children with special needs into school classrooms.  Using child size puppets,it encourages communication, builds self esteem and works to keep children safe.

Responsibilities

Volunteers are needed to help with the St. Chatty's Day parade on March 14 ( parade marshalls, award area assistants) and on April 9 for the Pinwhells for Prevention.
